We are small family company located in the City of Novi Sad (European capital of culture in 2022) run buy Sarenac couple. Our love of music, wood and nature lay foundation for this little endeavor we call Myro HiFi furniture.

Our family history of handcrafting lumber stretches’ for more than 100 years, we are currently the 4th generation that creates furniture out of solid hardwood.

It all began in the hills of Montenegro where my great grandfather started crafting tools and small furniture for the needs of local community where he lived. He led a simple life, lived in the woods and of the woods, in total sync with the nature.

After the WWII my grandfather moved north to the plains of Vojvodina and brought this love of shaping wood with him. He run a small furniture shop and even had his own workshop. This is where I fell in love with this art of giving new life to lumber. My grandfather, God rest his soul, had a keen sense of aesthetics and everything he did was timeless. Both in style and durability. Even today our most prized pieces of furniture are the pieces he made. He was just that good. Even though he was traditional in the sense of values, he was also very modern. One of the first TV sets in our town was brought by him, he loved music, played an accordion, had the huge LP collection for these times…

This love for music and furniture was passed on to my mother. She designed and collected furniture all of her life with the same love and dedication as her father.
